2008 Research Tracker® II Updates

1. Improved ability to Locate by Respondent.  You may now enter a Respondent's Last name and First name on the Respondent Data screen.  This greatly improves the time required to find respondents with common last names.  The same feature has been added to the Manual Recruitment and Referral lookup boxes.

2. Improved Zip Code query option.  Now you may input zip codes on the Job Query screen individually, in a range using a dash, or using  the * character as a wildcard.  This replaces the cumbersome drop-down box and makes it easier to enter a list of multiple zip codes.

3. Time stamp added to Query pulls.  Multiple samples pulled for the same job and quota may be filtered by date as well as time.  This makes it possible to print sample each time it is pulled, even if the pulls occur on the same day.

4. Children cross-referenced by Household.  Minor children will now appear on the Extended Demographics recruiting list regardless of which parent's record they reside on.  This makes it possible to search for Males with children even if the child(ren) reside on the Female's record.  Queries for No Children now check against all household members.

5. New Respondent Reports by key Dates.  A new report option allows you to create reports of Respondents based on Date Entered, Date Updated, Last Pulled, and Last Participation.

6. Expanded Outside List Processing.  This feature has been expanded to allow more options when processing an Outside List.  You may now Check the List against the database without importing the records.  The Duplicate Report has been expanded to show all entries in the database that match the Outside List record, along with contact information, caution and ineligible codes, and any active jobs they may be associated with.

7. Larger Screens.  As PC monitors have reached higher resolutions, we've expanded the size of many of the most crowded screens.  This makes them much easier to read.

8. Select All vs.Select Unconfirmed option added to Job Roster/Confirmation.  You may now Select All or Select only Unconfirmed respondents when printing mailing labels, envelopes, or doing a mail merge on the Job Confirmation.  This helps you keep better track of who has received a Confirmation reminder.

9. Participation Date reflects the Session DateThe respondents' participation date has been changed to capture the Session date rather than the Job Start Date.  This is a more accurate indicator of when participation occurs.

10. Children and/or Vehicle information consolidated on Report Wizard.  When making selections from the Report Wizard, Children's ages and gender are now grouped.  This eliminates the need to choose Child 1 Age, Child 2 Age, etc. in order to include the children's information on the Report Wizard output.  The same change has been made for Vehicles (Vehicle module only).
